Dear Residents of Lower Saxony, For many people, the COVID-19 / coronavirus pandemic and the associated preventive measures give rise to many questions. We would like to answer these questions as simply as possible on the following pages. Here, you can find everything you need to know about vaccines and vaccination, how to protect yourself and those around you, and where to go to get tested.
You can also find the current status of the vaccination campaign and contact us in person. We are looking forward to the active participation of everyone in Lower Saxony on our way to regaining some semblance of normality.
Should I get vaccinated or not?
The coronavirus is still dangerous – even here in Germany. This will remain the case for a while yet. The virus is constantly mutating and variants are emerging that are even more infectious than before.
Isn’t it enough to simply let everyone else get vaccinated?
